Shorts Group expands into Woking and the surrounding area

Shorts Group has expanded its quality skip hire business over the summer with the acquisition of Woking Skips, Ltd. This important addition adds 4 new lorries to the Shorts Group fleet of skip trucks and an impressive 260 skips. Shorts Group have kept the name and Woking-based premises of its acquisition, now trading as Woking Skips (part of the Shorts Group, Ltd).
Managing Director, Gary Short, expressed his thoughts about the strategic purchase:
"We're delighted to be able to better serve our customers in the Surrey area. Due to repeated customer requests, we have been keen to provide wider-area coverage to Surrey, and with the addition of Woking Skips, we're now in an even stronger position to satisfy the needs of our clients."
The addition of Woking Skips to Shorts Group means the addition of a new range of skip sizes as well. General Manager of Shorts Group, Mike Banham, explains:
"Via Woking Skips, we can now offer a full range of skip sizes, from 2-yard size on the small end to a 40-yard Ro Ro skip on the large size. The 2-yard skips are new to us - and we are sure that they will prove very popular and helpful to our private customers in the Woking area."
